The challenge
Better Emart is a complete e-commerce platform built for Chittagong, Bangladesh: a customer storefront in front, a vendor dashboard for the sellers behind it, and an admin operation running the whole marketplace. Live at betteremart.com.
The brief asked for more than a shop: a modern marketplace that could carry multiple vendors on one platform, keep inventory honest across all of them, take payments securely, and give customers an experience that holds up against the big platforms — search, cart, checkout, and order tracking that just work.

What Metaxia built
A Next.js and TypeScript storefront over an Express.js API with MongoDB, fronted by Cloudflare.
- Product catalog with category and subcategory filtering across 1,400+ listings
- Cart and secure checkout with order tracking from purchase to delivery
- Vendor dashboard: add and manage listings with multiple images, track inventory with automatic low-stock alerts, process orders in real time, and read sales reports with full transaction history
- Admin operation with live counts across the marketplace — products, categories, order states from pending to delivered, purchase orders, stock cost, and shipments
- Multi-vendor structure so each seller runs their own storefront inside one platform

Inside the product
management dashboard
The dashboard answers the operational questions at a glance — live tiles for catalog size, order states, and money in stock — then hands vendors the day-to-day controls.
- Catalog at a glance — products, categories, and subcategories
- Order pipeline — pending, on the way, delivered, plus custom orders
- Purchase orders and total shipments tracked live
- Stock cost rolled up across the marketplace
- Listings with multiple images, edited in place
- Low-stock alerts and real-time order status for every vendor

Delivery
The storefront and catalog shipped first, with vendor tooling following once real inventory was flowing. Order-state tracking — pending, on the way, delivered — landed with the logistics integration, and the admin overview grew a tile for each operational question the team kept asking.
